EquiForce Beta + contains beta-carotene (also called protivitamin A), a precursor of vitamin A, which is important in the mare's reproductive cycle, from wounds, ovulation, fertilization and pregnancy. A large amount of natural substance occurs in fresh grass, fresh hay and lucerne.

In addition to high levels of beta-carotene, EquiForce Beta + contains natural vitamin E (RRR alpha tocopherol) and chelated selenium (SelPlex®), which supports and enhances the beta-carotene effect. SelPlex® studies have proven to improve the level of antibodies in milk, thereby increasing the elasticity of newborn foals. Natural vitamin E (about 40% more effective than synthetic forms) also acts as a very powerful antioxidant, so it is important for the immune system.

Pregnant mares should be given supplement during the last three months of pregnancy or until a new pregnancy is confirmed. Mothers who do not currently have a pregnancy should be given an additional 3-4 months before insemination and until the pregnancy is confirmed. Stallions should be given throughout the breeding season.
